RecipesStay Healthy…
Most of the recipes on this website are healthy recipes. If you have been reading my posts you’ll know that I’m an advocate of healthy eating. The food we put into our bodies can sometimes be considered medicine. Fresh fruits and vegetables contain vitamins and minerals that are more potent than those you find in pills. So keep in mind healthy recipes are always foremost in my mind.

But Don’t Feel Deprived…
With that being said, I will admit there are some recipes that aren’t considered “healthy”. Most nutritionist and diet specialist will tell you that you need to have a treat every now and then so you don’t feel deprived. If you feel deprived you will find it harder to eat healthy.

Give Yourself a Treat…
If you know that on a certain day of the week, or on a special occasion, you can treat yourself to something you normally wouldn’t eat it is much easier to not eat something that isn’t in the healthy category. So that is the reason I’ve added some delicious desserts. I think you will find them all mouthwatering good. So treat yourself once a week or for a special occasion. They are sure to be a hit. Remember, balance is the key to life.

Simple and Easy…
Since this is a website about one pot meals, the emphasis for the recipes are meals cooked in slow cookers, pressure cookers, Dutch ovens, large pots, skillets, woks and casserole dishes. Check back frequently because we are always adding new and delicious recipes.

If you ever have a request for a recipe that isn’t on this website, please let us know so we can add it.

Remember, one pot meals are usually easy to make and the cleanup is just one pot. So try to plan ahead to make several a week to end the everyday stress of getting a healthy meal on the table. Home cooked meals are so much healthier because they don’t contain the fat and sodium in restaurant meals  or meals brought home.
